GOTHENBURG (SWE, July 4): World pole vault record-holder Mondo Duplantis set a world lead of 5.94m at the Bauhaus Jump Challenge. After sealing victory over runner-up Pal Haugen Lillefosse (5.60m) and Ben Broeders with Melkes Svard-Jacobsson 550 and Piotr Lisek 535, his third-attempt clearance was followed by three failures at 6.00m. Michaela Meijer won the women’s event with 4.60m. Angelica Bengtsson no-heighted at 445. Thobias Montler won the long jump with a wind-assisted 8.13 (+2.5) and also had a legal 8.07 (+1.5). Khaddi Sagnia won the women’s event with 6.64 (0.0).
