GREENVILLE (USA, Jul 15): At Acadia Invitational held in Greenville, South Carolina, two World Leads were set in the only event, the women’s pole vault. Home town hero Sandi Morris did not disappoint at her own backyard winning with 4.81m on countback against co-World Leading jumper Katie Nageotte. Both athletes elected to pass 4.86m and try their luck at 4.91m. Both Sandi and Katie made very close misses on 2nd attempts at this height. Solid jumping in 3rd place by Megan Clarke with 4.50m and further back a national record for Philipino athlete Natalie Uy with 4.30m. The event will be aired on YouTube.com/ESPN at 6pm EST on Thursday. Informs agent Paul Doyle.
