Today is the beginning of the Czech athletics season. 173 meets are planned in the Central European country today. These meets all have social distancing regulations. We will keep our readers updated on these events. Most of the athletes competing are Czech, but, there are some exceptions.
Season opener for Vadlejch on Monday
PRAHA (CZE): Czech track season starts on Monday with meets in the 173 cities. Top 3 (Kladno, Plzen, Kolin) will be also broadcast by Czech TV (no blocking on their website from 5 to 7 pm). In Kladno the main events will be both javelin throws. On the women side World record holder Barbora Spotakova will meet with European 2018 medalist Nikol Ogrodnikova. On the men side both 2017 World medalists Jakub Vadlejch and Petr Frydrych will clash. In shot put Tomas Stanek and in the 300 m Pavel Maslak.
