Thomas Rohler is one of the finest javelin throwers of all times. A PB of 93.90m set in 2017, Thomas is the Rio Olympic gold medalist in 2016, and European champion in 2018 in Berlin. Thomas is just a class act. I enjoy getting to speak with him and his coach on the sport.
BERLIN (GER): Olympic javelin champion Thomas Rohler is happy with how athletes played their part in the postponement of the Olympics to next year. He said: “We discussed a lot and the athletes’ opinion was very nicely rewritten in many associations around the world into an opinion that was ultimately brought to the IOC through positive detours from the media,” said the member of the World Athletics athletes’ commission.” From Leichtathletik.de.
“I feel like the fans are missing our sport very much. I’m happy about this… They tell us that they miss it so much these days that it tells me they love our sport.”
“That keeps me very much motivated.”
