Mo Farah is training for Tokyo 2021. He’s not in Ethiopia, he’s in London, in his home, enjoying his kids and his technical teadmill…
LONDON (GBR): Mo Farah is doing most of his training at the moment on the treadmill during the coronavirus outbreak, informs Athletics Weekly. “Most people like to go outside and they can’t stand the treadmill. But for me, I love the treadmill…So all of my runs, pretty much, have been on the treadmill. I have been going on (virtual training platform) Zwift. If your mates are on at the same time as you, you can do a session together. So it has been all right for me, I haven’t found it that difficult at all,” he said. Farah has also said the postponement of the Olympics could play to advantage as he changes his focus from the roads back to the track. “It is probably, in my honest opinion, not a bad thing for me because it gives you a bit more time to train for it, to do more races, because I would have gone from the marathon and then the following year straight to the track.”
