Justin Gatlin is looking for one more Olympic medal. He had originally planned to race through Tokyo, so he has added another year. The good thing is that 2020 will not be tough on him, in terms of racing.
WASHINGTON (USA): Former world 100m champion Justin Gatlin says he is taking heart from older stars in other sports as the 38-year-old plans to bow out of Olympic competition a year later than originally planned. The American said: “I’ve looked to people like Tom Brady, Drew Brees, athletes who are defying the odds in their own sport. And, what they’re doing is they’re becoming more of a student of craft, and not just training hard, but training smarter.” www.wuwf.org reports.
