How is your daily training/coaching regimen going and how challenging has it been for you in this environment?
Training hasn’t changed much for me. I’ve taken the last 3 week cycle and stepped up the volume a touch and backed off the 5k/10k specific work, but still keeping everything in there until we have some idea of when the next race will be. Once we get some answers, we can formulate a plan of attack.
What advice can you give to runners, -especially youth, high school, collegiate- who are challenged during this time as well.
There will be another race, we don’t know exactly when that will be right now, but we know that day will come. And on that day it will be clear who stuck to the process and who used this time wisely. Someone has to come out on top of all this, and it might as well be you.
