Mayer thinks Games should be postponed
MONTPELIER (FRA): Kevin Mayer has said he hopes the Olympic Games are postponed, informs L’Equipe. “I would really like them to postpone the Games,” he said. Mayer does not have the qualifying standard for the decathlon at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and will not be able to compete in the two decathlons he had planned in the United States at the start of April. He added: “You have to realise that sport, all of our daily leisure activities, is all very well, but here we are talking about health and the international crisis.”
