Kenenisa Bekele is rounding into shape for the 2020 Virgin Money London marathon, which will pit Bekele against Kipchoge. This should be a wonderful duel.

LONDON (GBR, Mar 1): Ethiopia’s Kenenisa Bekele won the Big Half in London in a course record of 60:22. Chris Thompson, 38, finished second in the second fastest time of his career of 61:07 with Jake Smith third in a British U23 record of 62:00. Lily Partridge won the women’s race in 70:50 from Samantha Harrison in 71:01.
