Donavan Brazier ran 2 big races in 2020, a 600m that was second fastest ever, and he finished it with a yawn. At Millrose, Donavan waited to take the lead until 600m and took over the race, setting a new AR of 1:44.22. Then, the season changed….
WASHINGTON (USA): World 800m champion Donovan Brazier said he was disappointed about the postponement of this year’s Olympics until 2021 but understood the decision. “Yeah, it is a little bit of a disappointment that they are going to postpone them for a whole year,” he told mlive.com. “But at the end of the day, there are going to be more people worse off than just some runners and athletes. I’m still grateful that they will have them in 2021. It messes up the training cycle a little bit, but there are a lot worse things that could be going on for the athletes.”
