British Athletics is the focus point of much ire at this time. The recent report on the lack of transparency by British Athletics is not the end of it. James Dasaolu, 2014 European champion, was recently denied a chance to workout. His response to the denial and the comments by British Athletics can be read below:

LOUGHBOROUGH (GBR): 2014 European 100m champion James Dasaolu aired his frustration at not being able to train at the British Athletics high performance centre in Loughborough due to coronavirus restrictions. The 9.91 runner wrote on Twitter: “Extremely disheartening to turn up to track today @lborouniversity Hipac to be denied entry @BritAthletics. Only funded athletes are allowed to train..to be told by a member of @BritAthletics staff “we have to take care of our own”.
