“The daily routine has been tested quite a bit. A lot of my training has always been done in a group with my Kansas teammates, so working together and having that back and forth is a big part of making it through tough workouts. Luckily running can still be done in almost any environment so locking in and getting the work done is all you can really do in this unfamiliar time.
My advice would be to accept the situation for what it is and make the best out of it. Training alone is never fun but use it as a time to self reflect and grow. One of the things I keep being reminded of is that normally this would be the busiest time of the year for me, but here I am hanging out in the backyard with my family and now I’m just very appreciative to have that time with them that I wouldn’t otherwise have.”
