Kenyan team for Gdynia
NAIROBI (KEN): Three-time defending champion Geoffrey Kamworor will lead Kenya’s team for the World Athletics Half-marathon Championships Gdynia on 29 March. He will be joined by the man who beat him to win the Kenyan cross title and who won the Ras Al-Khaimah Half last month, Kandie Kibiwott. 2017 World Cross silver medallist Leonard Barsoton, Shadrack Kimining and Victor Chumo are also in the squad. On the women’s side, Pauline Kaveke will try to step up from bronze in 2018. Dorcas Kimeli, who was third in Barcelona in 67:10 last month, is also on the team, along with Monica Wanjuhi, Brillian Jepkorir, Dorcas Jepchirchir and Dorcas Kimeli.
