As one builds up for a marathon, things hurt. Mo Farah apparently got a sore achilles and is tending to it, and focused on the London Marathon training, as he has a big race coming up on the streets of London.
LONDON (GBR): Mo Farah has pulled out of The Big Half on 1 March due to a minor Achilles injury. “Everyone knows how much I love racing in London, but my priority is to be fit, healthy and competitive for the summer season and for that reason I have had to make the tough decision not to race this year. I definitely hope to be back again in 2021,” he said. The line-up still features Ethiopia’s Kenenisa Bekele and Kenyan Marius Kipserem. From organisers.
