Let me put it this way. Jenny Simpson in a WC or Olympic final is a total racer. She does not have a weak spot in her game. If she moves up to 5000m, she will be a medal contender. She has one or two more tricks to show in the big races. Looking forward to see her at 12.5 laps outdoors.
BOSTON: World leading 14:58.67 in women 5000 m by former World champion Jenny Simpson in the 5000 m at the David Hemery Invitational. Second Dani Jones 15:17.11. Also Nia Akins clocked 2:00.71 in the 800 m over French Cynthia Anais 2:00.76 and CeAria Brown 2:01.18. Canadian wins for Lindsay Butterworth 2:37.85 in the 1000 m and Julie-Ann Staehli 4:32.36 in the mile. Dana Giordano clocked 8:51.78 in the 3000 m.
