NAIROBI (KEN): Kenyan Faith Kipyegon is hopeful she can successfully defend her Olympic 1500m title in Tokyo this year despite being beaten into second by Sifan Hassan at the World Championships in 2019. She told citizentv.co.za: “For sure I expect this year to be different from 2019 because I had a very short time to prepare for World Championships having come back from maternity break. I know that if I build up well towards Tokyo then I will be much stronger.”
