Price is realistic about 80 m
MOUNTAIN VIEW (USA): Hammer World champion DeAnna Price said in an interview with Track and Field News that 80 m result is possible for her. “As long as I stay healthy 80m is in my future. It is. It was there this year, 80 was right there. Our goal this year is to make it to the Olympic Trials and it’s all about that meet, of course, and then be able to repeat it a month later. All I know is that if I’ve got the strength, the crazy strength of this year, my technique was way better last year. So if we can implement the two, you’re going to see some crazy stuff happen. I won’t state specific numbers.” Her current US record is 78.24 in this year.
