Naser entered for Army Games
WUHAN (CHN): World 400m champion Salwa Eid Naser is entered in the 200m, 400m, 4x100m and 4x400m at the World Military Games in Wuhan from 22-27 October. World champion Hellen Obiri will be competing in the 5000m and reigning world high jump champions Mariya Lasitskene and Mutaz Essa Barshim are also due to compete. Lasitskene will face Ukrainians Yuliya Levchenko and Iryna Herashchenko while Barshim faces world bronze medallist Ilya Ivanyuk, European silver medallist Maksim Nedasekau and Syria’s former world bronze medallist Majd Ezin Ghazal. Olympic champion Thiago Braz faces former world champion Pawel Wojciechowski in the pole vault, former Olympic champion Olga Rypakova from Kazakhstan will compete in the triple jump and former world champion Sergey Shubenkov competes in the 110m hurdles.
