Akani Simbine suprised a few with his big win over the 100m in 9.93. He had run 10.01 in the first heat. In the final, Simbine lead five sprinters under 9.99. Simbine will be a potential medalist in Doha, Qatar. Andy Edwards of Race News Service interviewed Akani on at the London DL after his big win. The London DL was held on 20 and 21 July 2019.
