I love the Brooks PR Invitational. When the meet began as an indoor event, it was loads of fun, and now, as an outdoor event, and now adding some elite events, it stands out in a busy part of the year.
Big elite 1,500, with Josh Kerr, Scottish star, who ran 3:33.60, leading 13 under 3:41.74. On the women’s side, Katie Mackey ran 4:05.97, leading 8 under 4r:16.71.
In the high school events, Cole Sprout lead a huge 2 mile in 8:46.41 and Erika Vanderlinde took the girls’ 2 mile in 9:53.00, leading 3 under 10 minutes.
