The 2019 VW Prague Marathon is to be held on 5 May 2019. RunCzech will be providing streaming video for the race, which will be 8:50 AM CET in Prague, 1:50 AM NY time, 12:50 AM Chicago time, 11:50 PM (Which is Saturday, 4 May). For Americans, watching Kellyn Taylor, who ran 2:24.50 in Grandma’s Marathon.

The 25th edition of the Volkswagen Prague Marathon, the RunCzech event awarded the IAAF Gold Label, will kick off this Sunday, May 5 at 9:00 CET
A strong multinational elite field with runners from Europe, Asia and the U.S. is prepared to attack personal and event records as they lead over 10,500 runners through the streets of the historic city.
During the final pre-race press conference today in the Hilton Prague Hotel much of the discussion revolved around this race serving as a stepping stone to qualification for the World Championships in Doha this year and/or 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. Lonah Salpeter of Israel, Kellyn Taylor of the U.S., Amos Kipruto from Kenya, and Hamid Ben Daoud from Spain along with Jirka Homolac of the Czech Republic are all hoping this race will bring future as well as immediate rewards.
The race will be broadcast and streamed live on ČT Sport from 8:50 CET and worldwide thanks to the broadcasts of the group Lagardère Sports Media Ltd. Check the list here.
