AMSTERDAM (NED): Former world indoor 1500m champion Sifan Hassan has pulled out of the Netherlands’ team for the World Cross Country Championships next week. Hassan, who also dropped out of the Euro Cross this winter, is training at altitude in Ethiopia. Having set a European half-marathon record in Copenhagen last autumn, the 2015 European cross champion is concentrating on the Berlin Half-marathon in April. She will also run the FBK Games in Hengelo on June 9, where she wants to target her own continental best of 5000m. From nos.nl.
