TILBURG (NED): Yemaneberhan Crippa has said he might contest the senior instead of the U23 race at the European Cross Country Championships after winning in Tilburg on Sunday, informs FIDAL. “I did what I had to. I had come here mainly to study the track and I am happy, considering that now I am not at my best in form after the meeting and the long journey back. There are some ups and downs, with artificial dunes, and it is the type of route I prefer, even if the stretches with sand are not easy to deal with, but has other points where you can run faster,” he said. “Now I have two weeks of work waiting for me, with the possibility of more and more concrete participation in the European Championships in the senior race rather than the U23.”
