FLORENCE (ITA): After setting a European-leading 2:24:17 in the Florence Marathon, Lonah Chemtai Salpeter’s coach and husband, Dan Salpeter, believes she was in shape to run much faster on a different course, informs European Athletics. He said Chemtai Salpeter was in shape “to run 2:22 in perfect conditions and on a perfect course”. Her coach is Italian Renato Canova.
