Nancy Kiprop continues to develop as a force to be reckorrrned with in the marathon. At the age of 39, Nancy has won 4 marathons, and in Mainova Frankfurt, took seventh in a strong PB, in 2:22.46. Nancy uses her prize money to do good, funding a local school that now has 64 students and 4 teachers, after only nine months. Nancy also has seven children, five of them adopted. Her large heart not only helps her in her running, but also to do good things in the world.
Nancy went out with the lead pack and battled hard, taking 90 plus seconds off her PB in this very deep women’s field. This interview was done post race, by Andy Edwards of Race News Service post race.
