Gladys Cherono is a veteran of 14 years on the global running circuit. In 2013, Gladys took the silver medal in Moscow in the 10,000 meters, in 30:45.17. In 2015, in her second marathon, Gladys Cherono won the BMW Berlin Marathon in 2:19.25. In 2017, Gladys Cherono won the BMW Berlin Marathon once again, this time in 2:20.23.

Gladys Cherono is a seasoned competitor. She does not make big mistakes. In 2018, Gladys began the year in the U.A.E., at the RAK Half marathon, in February 2018, taking 7th in 1:07.13, in the world’s swiftest half marathon. Gladys took fourth in the London Marathon in April 2018, with a 2:24.10 in the hot and humid conditions of Londontown.
