DOHA (QAT): Organisers of the 2019 IAAF World Championships have marked one year to go to the start of the event by unveiling the unique pink track, the innovative stadium cooling system and the ticketing programme. Officials, sponsors, media and special guests including Qatar’s world-class No.1 400m hurdler Abderrahman Samba experienced a temperature of 24-26C, courtesy of the revolutionary in-stadium air-conditioning technology, which will guarantee optimal conditions for athletes and fans alike while also being sustainable. Tickets for those new to athletics will be priced at 14 euros with discounts available for groups and families. Interest in purchasing tickets can now be registered online.
