It was 46th win for Finland men and 38th win for Sweden´s women. Discus World leader Danel Stahl achieved the best result of the day with 68.00 over Simon Pettersson 63.16. Antti Ruuskanen topped javelin 82.25. Home wins for Oskari Lehtonen 20.96 (0.0) in the 200 m, Elmo Lakka 13.72 (+0.2) hurdles and Simo Lipsanen 16.31 (+0.8) triple. For Sweden Carl Bengstrom 50.61 at 400 m hurdles, Melker Svard Jacobsson 545 pole vault and fast 10 000 m walk Perseus Karlstrom 38:39.28 (2nd best of 2018 in the World) over Veli-Matti Partanen 38:44.13. In women events to note for guests from Sweden Hanna Hermansson 2:02.64 in the 800 m, Charlotta Fougberg 32:34.47 PB in the 10 000 m, Erika Kinsey and Sofie Skoog 190 in high jump, Khaddi Sagnia 645 (-0.2) in long jump and Fanny Roos 17.95 in shot put.
