This is the review of the Saucony Kinvara 9 , an updated shoe from Saucony. Cregg Weinmann has reviewed footwear and apparel for California Track & Running News since the mid 1990s, and for the RunningNetwork since 1998. If you would like to see this review on Running Product Reviews, please go to: Saucony Kinvara 9. At RunBlogRun, our goal is help you find the perfect shoe for you. Our suggestions: always visit your local running stores at end of day, take a clean pair of running socks, and try on five to six different brands, and jog around in them. Real running stores allow you to check the right show for you. For more reviews, go to www.runningproductreviews.com.
The Kinvara has been Saucony’s most efficient and versatile running shoe, thanks to its weight and durability – light enough for a racer and sturdy enough for daily training. The upper has been improved with a better fit through the mid-foot, while retaining the roomy toe box. The forefoot of open mesh gives it an airy. The midsole has a livelier feel thanks to the combination of the Everun topsole, added in Round 8, and tweaks to the midsole shaping. The outersole is thoroughly dialed in after 9 attempts, carbon rubber at touchdown and under the metatarsals, and being one of the pioneering brands for toughened foam Saucony has nailed it again. Of course the Kinvara’s greatest strength is fast running and number nine continues to deliver.
Testers: “Light and springy, with a good stable feel to it. Fits well with good room for the toes. Tough enough for daily training and light enough to race in.”
