The 2018 European Athletics Championships was held August 6 to 12, 2018. Much was riding on the championships and the EAA lived up to the hype. World Leaders, Championship records and the 51 members of the EAA lived up to the history of the birthplace of modern athletics. Fine crowds, great peformances and some innovative presentation innovation. The streaming video (except Canada and US, which we hope they change in future), social media, brought many of the next generation to the sport. RunBlogRun covered every session, thanks to Stuart Weir, EME NEWS, the IAAF.org and the European Athletics site. We had over 125,000 readers a day, with our daily conversations with Larry getting some strong interest. Special thanks to Mike Deering, of the Shoe Addicts, who produced the videos, some days up to six, on a daily basis.
