2018 Birmingham DL Diary: Noah Lyles and Zharnel Hughes could join Baker, Coleman, Pressed, Simbine, Rodgers and Blake in 100m final in Brussels (August 31)

BIRMINGHAM (GBR): After the 100 m final with top results in Birmingham the qualifiers for the Brussels Final should be clear. But from the top 8 the 6th placer Jimmy Vicaut ended the season and 8th placer Su Bingtian has Asian Games. That opens the door for the new star Noah Lyles (currently 9th) and European champion Zharnel Hughes (currently 10th). In the clear qualifying positions Ronnie Baker, Christian Coleman, Reece Prescod, Akani Simbine, Mike Rodgers and Yohan Blake. What a race on August 31 in Brussels!
