McCartney 494 AR, WL
JOCKGRIM (GER, Jul 17): New Oceanian record and World lead 494 by New Zealand´s Eliza McCartney highlighted the 24th Pole Vault meet in Jockgrim in the local stadium. She achieved that mark in third attempt and had also one try at 501. Second Jenn Suhr 487 and third Holly Bradshaw 480 over Katie Nageotte 470. Women jumped in top weather, during men storm came and after World U20 champion Armand Duplantis cleared 580 in first attempt the event was stopped and ended due to weather reasons. Australian Kurtis Marschall cleared 570 for 2nd and stopped after one foul at 580. Chinese Huang Bokai was third and US Andrew Irwin fourth, both with 565 and did not clear 573. World champions ended 5th (Barber 550) and sixth (Wojciechowski 550).
