LONDON (GBR): After winning the mile in London in 4:14.71, Sifan Hassan admitted she wanted to double up at the European Championships. “I’ve managed to run a huge PB and it’s almost four seconds quicker but it shows that my season is only just starting. I wanted to double up in the 1500m and 5000m at the European Championships but I think that’s out of the question given the timetable,” she said. Hassan looks likely to focus on the 5000m.
