Sandra Perkovic is the finest discus thrower of her generation. She has sent MRs at ten Diamond League meetings, and also has won 40 plus Diamond League meets. Perkovic makes the discus and her domination of said event look easy. It is not. Watch her in Paris on Saturday for a huge throw.

« I just competed yesterday at the Mediterranean Games in Spain. But before I had a break. I needed that. Season will be long, I want to get my 5th European title in Berlin. So, I needed to go back in a training camp. It helped me to be back in shape. For the event on Saturday, I hope to do as long, and maybe better than my throw last year in Paris where I won with 68.48 m. The field will be strong with the two girls from Cuba. And I know we can expect some very good conditions. »
