RunBlogRun opines: Shubenkov is one of the finest hurdlers in the world. Technically, Sergey is quite good, and his finish is one of the best. In watching him in London post race, I sensed that he was just tired of the questions on Russia being kept out of the World Championships. Shubenkov is one of the finest competitiors in his event, the 110m hurdles. We wish he and his wife a hearty congratulations on the birth of their son, Yaroslav.
