BOSTON (USA, May 19): 3000 m world lead 7:45.64 by Cyrus Rutto highlighted the first day of adidas Boston Boost Games at Steinbrenner Stadium. Behind him top medalists from Ethiopia Hagos Gebrhiwot 7:46.20 and World champion Muktar Edris 7:46.98. Top quality women 800 m won by Ajee Wilson in 1:59.27 over Jamaican Natoya Goule 1:59.43. In the 1500 m Ethiopian Dawit Seyaoum in 4:04.65 won over Charlene Lipsey 4:04.98 PB and NorwayÂ´s Karoline Grovdal 4:06.18 also PB. Fourth South African Dominique Scott also life-time best 4:07.20. Brandon McBride of Canada with 1:45.18 clearly beat PolandÂ´s Marcin Lewandowski 1:46.11 in menÂ´s 800 m. In the mile 20 years old Drew Hunter clocked 3:56.72 PB ahead of Chris OÂ´Hare 3:57.17. Kenyan Caroline Kipkirui won the 5000 m in 15:55.24.
