Farah next race in Manchester
LONDON (GBR): After finishing third in the London Marathon in a British record of 2:06:21, Mo Farah will next race over 10km in the Great Manchester Run on 20 May, informs Athletics Weekly. He will also race over 10km at the Vitality London 10,000 on 28 May. He hasn’t ruled out contesting the marathon at the 2019 World Championships, informs Athletics Weekly. “On the track it took me a few years to get it right. You don’t win medals overnight and I believe it’s the same in the marathon,” he said. His coach Gary Lough also rated Farah’s chances in a championship environment. “If you put Mo into a championships environment, like next year in Doha and certainly in Tokyo, then I definitely think that Mo Farah should be someone that people have got major concerns about.”
