Mo Farah had a very successful second marathon. At the 2018 Virgin Money London Marathon, Mo Farah committed early on, hitting 13:50 for 5k, 28:20 for 10k, 43:05 for 15k and 61 minutes for the half marathon. Then, the going got tough. From about 30 kilometers on, Mo Farah battled the elements, and himself over the next 12 kilometers. He came close to getting both the European record and Briitsh record. His British record of 2:06:34 made most of his countrymen smile, and took the 34 year old record of Steve Jones down. But, Mo Farah had to work very hard for that record. His last few miles were agonizing.
