Eliud Kipchoge won the 2018 Virgin Money London Marathon, running 2:04:17 on a hot day with 75 degree temperatures and 50 percent humidity. KIpchoge has now won nine of his ten marathons.
Truth is, Eliud Kipchoge can win a marathon hopping on one foot. Well, not really, but you get the idea. KIpchoge can run from the front or the back. he can run off a slow pace, off an insane pace as he did on Sunday in London.
The zen master of the marathon, as Paula Radcliffe called him during the London Marathon broadcast, Eliud Kipchoge took on all and won, even when Mother Nature pulled out all of the stops. He tells Andy Edwards that Mr. Kipchoge will be racing through Tokyo 2020.
We thank Andy Edwards for this post race Monday interview of the finest male marathoner in the world.
