Ta Lou 7.08, Thiam shot put PB
EAUBONNE (FRA, Feb 9): London silver medalist Marie Josee Ta Lou of Ivory Coast won the 60 m at the special women indoor meet with second fastest of the season 7.08. Second Carina Horn 7.10 what is national indoor record for South Africa and third Carolle Zahi 7.20 (but 7.19 in heats). Olympic and World gold medalist Nafi Thiam opened the season with 3052 triathlon score ((190 high jump, 15.52 shot put PB and 8.35 hurdles). They competed in high jump with specialists, Johnson-Thompson was the winner but 193 also for second Levern Spencer. Poland´s Anna Kielbasinska won the 200 m in the European lead 23.19 and Finland´s Nooralotta Neziri was the best in hurdles 8.07. Neutral Anzhelika Sidorova cleared 472 to win the pole vault and in long jump second best jump decided. Lauma Griva of Latvia 652 (646) and former World Indoor champion Eloyse Lesueur-Aymonin 652 (638). Ethiopian Habitam Alemu won the 800 m in 2:01.79. In the 3000 m British Melissa Courtney was the best 8:57.33 beating Poland´s Sofia Ennaoui 8:57.53 and Sweden´s Linn Nilsson 8:58.31 overall PB.
