SABADELL (ESP, Feb 13): World record holder Genzebe Dibaba achieved the best result of the international indoor meet here near Barcelona with World leading 8:31.23 in the 3000 m. She was practically 2km alone (2:50, 5:39 splits). Second Weynshet Ansa way back 9:09.80. New Burundi star Thierry Ndikumwenayo won after Metz also here the 3000 m in 7:50.19 PB over Kenyan steepler Benjamin Kigen 7:50.99 and Sergio Jimenez 7:52.35. In the men 1500 m two Spanish runners clocked sub 3:40, Marc Alcala 3:39.45 and former 800 m runner Kevin Lopez 3:39.86. Ethiopian Kore Tola won women 800 m 2:03.02 and Saul Ordonez 1:47.12 topped the men. In the 400 m Luguelin Santos 46.67 and Slovak Iveta Putalova 53.69 were the winners. Brazilian Elaine Martins won the long jump 644 and Eure Yanez beat on count-back Slovak Matus Bubenik with 223 in the high jump.
