LONDON (GBR): Reigning champion Daniel Wanjiru will defend his title in the London Marathon on 22 April, informs organisers. Wanjiru defeated Kenenisa Bekele in last year’s race, clocking 2:05:48.
RunBlogRun opines: Yesterday was a bit of a strange year in London. Kipchoge was at the Nike breaking 2 event, and in that vacuum, Daniel Wanjiru ran his race and won in the Virgin Money London Marathon. This year is quite different, with Kipchoge, Bekele, Farah among the differences.
