Danil Lysenko 237 WL
HUSTOPECE (CZE, Jan 27): At the 19th Hustopecske skakani indoor high jump with music Russian World silver medalist Danil Lysenko confirmed his top shape with World leading clearance of 237 in first attempt. It was followed by 3 close jumps at meeting record height of 239. European Indoor champion Sylwester Bednarek jumped 231 as second. Four other jumpers cleared 228, Chinese Wang Yu as third, Belarussian Maksim Nedasekau and Dmitriy Nabokau as fourth and fifth and Mexican Edgar Rivera as sixth. Reigning World indoor champion Gianmarco Tamberi opened with 225 as 7th. Surprisingly in B competition Slovak Matus Bubenik went over superb 230 (tied his second best ever). St. Lucia´s Levern Spencer got the women win with 193 (she tried at World indoor standard 197). Second Alessia Trost and third Morgan Lake both achieved 190.
