EDINBURGH (GBR): Olympic 800m finalist Lynsey Sharp, whose father Cameron won relay gold at the 1978 Commonwealths is keen to emulate her father in getting on to the podium as part of the Scottish quartet. That is after she will face tough opposition set to include Caster Semenya over two laps.
RunBlogRun opines: Lynsey Sharp is moving to California to be coached by Terrance Mahon with her boyfriend, Andrew Butchart. In the 1978 CG in Edmonton, Lynsey’s father gold in in the 4x100m. Lynsey has a shot at the 4x400m, but the team will be tough to make.
