The future of Norwegian athletics is looking better and better, with Sandre Moen (2:05:47 European marathon record), the Ingebrigtsen family, and now, Karston Warholm. Warholms’s win in London was after less than a year as a 400 meter intermediate hurdler.

Not since the 1980s has Europe had such a field of 400 meter hurdlers (Copello of Turkey, Warholm of Norway) and Karston is a bit of a character.
Watch him race indoors this coming season, and watch his pressers. Karston has a fine sense of humor, speaks his mind and loves his sport, his country and the attention he is getting as the next great 400 meter hurdler.
