Under Armour slide from presentation
In their offices in Austin, Texas, Under Armour’s Senior VP of Global Running & Training, Topher Gaylord spoke on the history of UA in running and, as they enter their tenth year in the channel, how their new launch in February 2018 will change the perception of UA in running. This is a fascinatinge presentation, on both product and the marketing of the product. The key for UA is to convince the specialty retail running channel that UA is serious about the channel and running.
Topher Gaylord is the former President of Mountain Hardware. His new responsibilities at Under Armour have him overseeing nearly all UA footwear product. Thoughtful, positive and focused, Taylor spoke to the assembled media and running store owners for fifteen minutes, and was then followed by Under Armour’s Global Marketing VP Running, Jasmine Maietta, on how UA will promote the February 2018 launch of the two new launches from UA.
There was a good turn out for one of the first parties at the 2017 Running Event. RunBlogRun will be visiting the various booths to provide you an update on the 2017 season and what 2018 portends in running.
