MOSCOW (RUS): Two-time world high jump champion Mariya Lasitskene will open her indoor season domestically in Chelyabinsk on 11 January and her first international competition of the season is scheduled for Banska Bystrica on 31 January, informs Sport Express. “Maria traditionally wants to open the winter season Memorial Lukashevich and Seredkin which will be held January 11 in Chelyabinsk,” said her agent Olga Nazarova, who added that more domestic competitions will be added to her schedule for January in due course. Lasitskene will also compete in Karlsruhe (3 February), Dusseldorf (6 February), Madrid (8 February) and Torun (15 February) as well as the Russian Indoor Championships from 12-14 February.
