FRANKFURT (GER): Arne Gabius is thinking about contesting the 10,000m at the European Championships in Berlin next summer, informs Leichtathletik.de. “In Berlin you can run every year, there is one of the largest marathons in the world instead. It is always a festival for us runners. I find 25 laps in the full Olympic Stadium in front of 40,000 or more people is also a great party. I have some catching up to do after my injury, I have to train my speed, I’m short of the lower distance. For this I have to do half marathon training and there the 10,000 meters fits in wonderfully, so why not the 10,000 meters? And then an autumn marathon,” he said.
