With the half marathon request at 70 minutes, that pace will feel much better than the 67:56 that she ran during the London Marathon, last April.

Of her debut marathon, Vivian Cheruiyot smiled, and said, quite nuanced, that she had learned much from her first experience. ” When I ran so fast for the 20k, I knew that we had 22 k more to go. So, I told myself to slow down.” Vivian Cheruiyot is a yeoman marathoner, but she has a skill set, like Tirunesh Dibaba of great success on the track.
How well can Vivian Cheruiyot do on the roads? The sky is the limit, in this writer’s mind. I do believe, that between Tirunesh Dibaba, Vivian Cheruiyot, and Mary Keitany, we are seeing a completely new evolution of women distance runners.
