NEWCASTLE (GBR): London Marathon winner Mary Keitany is confirmed for the Great North Run on 10 September, informs organisers. “I’m very happy to be coming back to Newcastle for the Great North Run. I have won there twice and if all goes to plan, I would love to make it a third,” said Keitany, who will defend her New York Marathon title in November. Former European 10,000m champion Jo Pavey is also confirmed while last year’s runner-up Dathan Ritzenhein also returns.
